March 8th was a special day at Inivos as we came together to celebrate the incredible women who contribute to our success and growth. The Women's Day event was a heartfelt session where our colleagues shared heartfelt reflections on their personal journeys, highlighting the challenges they've faced and the milestones they've achieved.

To add a creative touch to the celebration, we hosted a Sip & Paint session, where our team members tapped into their hidden artistic talents. It was a fun-filled experience, with creativity flowing freely and the results being nothing short of remarkable!

A big thank you to the event coordinator, CoCreations for their dedication and efforts in organizing the event, ensuring everything went off without a hitch. We are proud to continue fostering an environment of diversity, inclusion, and gender equality and are excited to keep celebrating the amazing women who help drive Inivos forward.

Empowering Future Innovators: Collaborating with UCSC’s Computer Science Students on Agile and AI

Inivos had the privilege of collaborating with the talented second-year students from the University of Colombo School of Computing (UCSC) for an engaging month-long project. The students applied Agile Scrum methodology to develop an AI-enabled Smart Car Care App.

Earlier in February, a guest lecture on Agile Project Management was delivered to set the foundation for this hands-on task. Throughout the project, Inivos’ team worked closely with the students, alongside Kasun Fonseka, COO & Co-founder of Inivos Technology, to provide mentorship and guide them through real-world applications of Agile practices.

On the final day, Inivos’ team had the opportunity to assist in conducting the vivas, where the students presented their projects in a formal setting. The presentations were a testament to the hard work and dedication put into the month-long assignment. The students approached the vivas with great enthusiasm, confidently explaining their AI-enabled Smart Car Care Apps and the thought process behind their development.

Their creativity was truly remarkable, as many groups not only applied the Agile methodology effectively but also showcased innovative AI models with impressive functionality. The depth of their understanding was evident in how they tackled real-world problems and incorporated Agile principles into their development process. Some groups even went beyond expectations by introducing additional features that enhanced the app's usability and overall efficiency.

It was clear that the students had embraced the project wholeheartedly, demonstrating both technical proficiency and the ability to collaborate as Agile teams. Their ability to solve complex problems while adhering to Agile practices was impressive and reaffirmed their potential as future leaders in the tech industry.

A Milestone Moment: The Official Launch of Precision Blend

We are thrilled to share that our solution for revolutionizing tea manufacturing, Precision Blend, has officially been launched. Built to meet the evolving needs of tea manufacturers, Precision Blend brings intelligence and precision to every stage of production, from auctioning and blending to grading and beyond. This success wouldn’t have been possible without the invaluable guidance and support from industry experts who helped shape and refine the solution to ensure it addresses the most pressing challenges in tea manufacturing today.

During the event, we had the privilege of showcasing Precision Blend to leaders in the tea industry, who were able to see firsthand how the solution optimizes key processes with cutting-edge AI technology. Their insights were instrumental in making this launch a success, ensuring that Precision Blend not only meets but exceeds the needs of tea manufacturers.

A major highlight of the event was the integration of Transpomate, which complements Precision Blend by optimizing the logistics side of the tea manufacturing process. By streamlining the creation of collection sheets and transport requests, Transpomate ensures that tea manufacturers can manage the entire process, from blending to transportation, with greater efficiency and accuracy. This integration makes Precision Blend an even more robust solution, addressing both production and logistics challenges simultaneously.
